How Did The Mob Come Together?
The Mob’s Press started out as a Montreal-based comedy blog 10 years ago. The blogger, Johanne Britton covered, reviewed and promoted the comedy scene in Montreal. She soon realized the need for online promotion in the comedy industry and her mission in life was set.
In 2012, she met Boss Andy Famous, and together they launched what is today called Mobtreal.com – the first of a network of blogs run by a team of blogging mobsters, promoting the art, comedy and culture industry.
Our ‘Blogging Mob’ has spread to Toronto, Calgary, New York, Los Angeles and soon France.
The Mob’s Press was created in 2016 as the umbrella company for our city networks, providing their artists with the online tools they need to grow their online visibility.
Soon after, The Mob joined forces with another like-minded entrepreneur who wanted to help artist achieve their goals, Chase Washington.
Combining tech, digital marketing, strategy and monetizing opportunities, The Mob was ready to help artists get promoted.
