Space Motel
SPACE MOTEL
Space Motel is the epitome of a great contradiction. When you do “Soulful” really well and you do “Rock” really well, fusing them very rarely works… but these guys have figured out the winning formula. They formed 10 years ago, and took their time to craft their first album, “Departure” which dropped in 2015. Shortly after, they started the journey of tackling their sophomore project, “Arrival“, which was released in February of 2017.
The band operates as a sort of collective, incorporating the talents of a revolving list of talented artists that collaborate in the studio and on stage with the original members, Jim Muro, Willie Myette, Zach Paquette and Nate Davignon. Their collaborators include (just to name a few): Mike Baez (of On the Drop), Grayson Farmer (of Jazz Farmers, Mighty Sam McLain, Soul Shot), Steve Malec (of The Electric Flood), Frank Moniz (of The Agents, Soul Shot, Frankie Ranks), and Garrett Shider (of Parliament Funkadelic).
